Psychotherapy · Telehealth & in-person

[Your Name], LCSW

Adult therapy in [Your City] and the surrounding region. Anxiety, relationships, life transitions. Reach out when you're ready — first session is unhurried.

How I work

Most of my clients come in because something quietly isn't fitting anymore — work, a relationship, the version of themselves they keep meaning to become. We start where the friction is and follow it back.

My training is psychodynamic with a steady seam of CBT and IFS where those tools fit. I'm not interested in performance or jargon — sessions are conversations, with as much directness as you want and not a drop more.

Session types

What the first session looks like

  1. A few minutes of housekeeping Confidentiality, insurance, scheduling logistics — the boring part, out of the way first.
  2. Why now In your own words, with as much or as little structure as you'd like. There's no wrong way to start.
  3. A plan, or not If you want a sense of where we'd go, we'll sketch one. If you'd rather just feel out the conversation, we do that.

Schedule a session

Pick a time that works. If nothing fits, email and I'll find something.

Common questions

Do you take insurance?

No, but I provide an itemized superbill each month that most out-of-network plans accept for partial reimbursement. Call your plan and ask about "out-of-network outpatient mental health".

In-person or telehealth?

Both. Most clients do a mix. The office is in [Your City]; telehealth is on a HIPAA-compliant platform and works anywhere statewide.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancellations more than 24 hours out are free. Inside the window, the session fee still applies — therapy works best when the time is held consistently.

Do you work with teens?

My practice is adults only (18+). I'm happy to refer to colleagues who specialize in adolescents.
