Terms of Service

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and PageDuo Inc. ("PageDuo", "we", "us"), the company that operates PageDuo.ai (the "Service"), and govern your use of the Service. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

PageDuo.ai is a collaborative, AI-assisted editing platform for online pages and sites. We may add, change, or remove features while launching at in different stages.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the digital-consent age in your country). Accounts are personal — do not share credentials or transfer your account without our consent. By using the Service you agree that PageDuo may collect and store all of your activity data on the site — including your usage, interactions, engagement, navigation, edits, and AI generations — to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Service and to rank and recommend the public feed, as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Your content

PageDuo owns the content created or generated on the Service. The pages, media, layouts, and other output you create, generate, or assemble using the Service — including anything produced with our AI features — are owned by PageDuo, and you hereby assign to PageDuo all right, title, and interest in that output. For anything you upload, you warrant that you hold all rights necessary to provide it to the Service and to have it incorporated into the resulting pages and output; you cannot transfer ownership of material you do not own, so you assign to PageDuo your rights in the pages and generated output created from it on the Service and remain responsible for having the rights to whatever you upload, including media embedded in attached documents. We grant you a license to access, use, publish, export, and download your pages and their content for as long as your account is active, and on account deletion your content is removed as described in the Privacy Policy. For content you choose to publish, PageDuo may rank, feature, and recommend it in PageDuo's public feed, and use it — together with aggregate engagement statistics (view, copy, and comment counts) and comments left publicly on the published page — to train and tune the ranking and recommendation systems behind the feed (see the Privacy Policy, "Feed ranking and recommendations"). Unpublishing ends the feed use. We do not sell your private content, and we will not publicly attribute or expose it except as you direct by publishing or sharing it.

4. AI-generated content

AI features produce output from your prompts and materials. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on or publishing it. AI output may be imperfect; do not present generated facts as verified without checking them. Output you accept into your pages becomes part of the PageDuo-owned content governed by Section 3. If you bring your own AI provider key, your use of that provider is governed by its terms, not ours.

Token usage and limits. Token usage is the total measure of your AI use in the Service — it counts both the tokens used to process your input (including but not limited to your prompts, attached materials, and the content the AI reads, including understanding uploaded images for search) and the tokens used to generate content; in other words, your AI usage limit includes the total input and output of your AI calls. Your plan's usage limits and any usage-based charges are measured in these tokens, and your usage is metered and recorded for billing and abuse-prevention purposes. AI usage limits are subject to change. We may adjust the AI usage limits, windows (for example, per-month allowances), and any usage-based charges associated with each plan at any time; material changes take effect prospectively and continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated limits.

Plans described as "unlimited". Where a plan is described as offering unlimited AI use, "unlimited" means unlimited ordinary use, by one person, for the purposes the Service is designed for. It is subject to fair use. We may apply rate limits, queueing, or temporary restrictions to: automated, scripted, or programmatic use; bulk or high-volume generation; use that materially degrades the Service for other customers; and use shared beyond the individual account or the number of seats the plan provides. We will apply any such measure no more broadly than is needed to keep the Service available and reliable, and — except where the use is abusive or poses a security or availability risk — we will tell you before or when we do.

6. Published pages and form submissions

Publishing makes a page publicly accessible at its published URL and may make it visible in the public feed. You can unpublish at any time.

For personal data your published pages collect from visitors (for example through forms), you are the data controller and PageDuo is your processor: we store submissions on your behalf, only to provide the Service to you; we apply the security measures described in our Privacy Policy; we will tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a breach affecting your submissions; and submissions are deleted when the page or your account is deleted. You are responsible for collecting only what you lawfully may, for providing any privacy notice your jurisdiction requires, and for honoring your visitors' privacy requests for the data you collect.

7. Copyright and abuse complaints

If you believe content published through the Service infringes your copyright or is otherwise unlawful, email [email protected] with: (a) the URL of the content, (b) identification of the work or right you say is infringed, (c) your contact details, and (d) a statement, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that you believe in good faith the use is unauthorized and that your notice is accurate. We remove or disable access to content in response to valid notices and may forward your notice to the user who published the content; that user may respond with a counter-notice, and we may restore content where the law provides for it. We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of repeat infringers.

8. Availability and changes

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" during private launch, without uptime guarantees and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We work to keep your data safe and the Service available, but we may interrupt it for maintenance, modify features, and — as a private-launch product — data loss, while we work hard to prevent it, cannot be ruled out: keep copies of anything irreplaceable. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms (including the repeat-infringer policy in Section 7), with notice where practicable. On account deletion your content is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PageDuo Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents from and against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs (including attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) content you create, upload, or publish through the Service; (b) personal data your published pages collect from visitors, including claims by those visitors; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of law or third-party rights. We will notify you of any such claim and may participate in the defense at our own expense.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PageDuo Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data caused by factors outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We will update these Terms as the product evolves and change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be announced in-product; continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
